Potty

Previous potty posts have not really featured specific potty usage. Rosie will kill me in a few years. but  this is worthy of a post I am afraid. It seems we are finally turning a corner with pooing and weeing! The potty has finally taken centre stage.
Of course, watching TV and being beautified at the same time make it all the more agreeable.

Donuts

Saturday mornings mean Tim Hortons. Coffee and donuts at the Dubai Mall
Today's outfit was chosen by her royal highness. Very cool cafe wear.

Wings

Life these days is all about wings and tails. Today is a wings day.
Even fairies need pedal power to supplement their wings sometimes.
Flying is hard work. TIme for a rest and some crisps (favourite food of fairies.)
It's a fantastic thing when you can get a crowd of six year old girls to fly behind you in the park. Friends for life!

Kite flying at Burj Al-Arab

Dinner on the beach with friends yesterday from a fresh-caught fish restaurant. Kite flying in the shadow of the Burj for Rosie. The prefect evening.

She held on for grim death, until her hands could take no more.

God grant me the serenity....

to accept the mother I cannot change...
and maybe the father at the same time.
Just kidding! My parents are the greatest!

Happy New Year!

Better late than never!! Time to catch up with the blog..

Walkies

Rosie stepping out in style with Grandma. Whisterfield lane has never seen such fashionable dog walking attire.

A walk in the woods

Back home and Grandma's house (after a never ending journey from Scotland.) Time for a walk in the woods and some fresh air.
 Sticks-a-plenty to play with
and a Daddy who can teach me all the SAS survival techniques.
The best technique of all is to get someone to carry you. A wonderful way to conserve energy.

Christmas sparkles

Before we leave Christmas 2012..a special mention for Christmas lunch, which went with a sparkle.
And the Christmas fairy who sparkled throughout the festive season.

Or MacBooks?

Where would we be without Ipads?

The girls sharing Christmas apps. Not a tear shed or an angry word between them. Spectacular!

Mummy doesn't say no to an app either.
 Pure concentration...

New Year meal and poo

A spectacular setting for a New Year lunch.
The Glenuig Inn. A welcome sight and the end of the world.

Time for a ramble with grandpa.
The mountains are spectacular, but what is this I see on the grass. Now this is interesting...
Sheep poo. Demands for fifteen photos and thirty minutes of running round the field finding more of it followed. A sure sign of growing up in the Middle East-not a sheep (or poo) in sight.
